Activity: Chiang Mai bird-watching on Tuesday the 18th at 06.30.

December 11, 2012

We meet at Dokmai Garden‘s parking at 06.30 a.m. for birdwatching in the garden until 10. Bring binoculars and camera. The ticket is 100 Baht but free if you have a VIP card. Register your participation by e-mail: info at dokmaigarden.co.th

The last few nights have been cold (15°C in the valley and frost from mid elevation on Doi Inthanon) which may have forced some interesting mountain birds down to the valley. We shall see if we can add some more bird species to the Dokmai Garden bird list, chasing the magic 100.

Cheers, Ketsanee and Eric
