Dokmai Garden in Bangkok
Sometimes a gardener takes a shower and walks the streets like a regular person. Ketsanee, Mia, Mika and I went to Bangkok over the weekend to meet with Indian friends and investors at an Indian wedding. Most of them were born in Thailand and speak fluent Thai. Since quite a few are located in Phuket and are involved in tourism, we have many interests in common. They have their eyes on Chiang Mai because land is still very affordable compared to Bangkok and Phuket.
Harry Narula is a plant lover who has visited Dokmai Garden in Chiang Mai. He describes his hometown New Delhi as a ‘concrete desert’ with 22 million inhabitants desperate to experience green nature. Although the greatest numbers of tourists visiting Thailand come from Malaysia, China, Russia and Australia, the segment of Indian tourists is rapidly increasing. Here Harry Narula meets with Ketsanee and family at the Landmark Hotel, Bangkok.
