Slow Food in Chiang Mai – final details!

May 22, 2011

A local network for the defense and promotion of good, clean & fair food is being born in Chiang Mai.

This is an attempt to gather all people that want and work for linking the pleasure of good food with a commitment to their community and the environment. A first step for the creation of a local Slow Food convivium in Chiang Mai.

Slow Food is a global, grassroots, non-profit and member-supported organisation with more than 100,000 members in 150 countries around the world. The international voice of all people and organisations that work to counter the rise of fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.
