Excursion:

“A Chiang Rai jungle”

When: Sunday, May 22nd, 2011, at 07.00. We should be back in Chiang Mai before dark.

Meeting point: The parking outside Tweechol/Horizon hotel and garden on the Chiang Rai road.

Registration: Please send an e-mail at least one day in advance to info@dokmaigarden.co.th. If ten people show up in ten cars, we should of course leave seven cars and then we share the driving costs.

We drive together to southern Chiang Rai city, and then another 9 km east where we meet our local guide. We focus on local flora, but if there is a bird watcher or entomologist in the group, please share your knowledge!

Prerequisite: Participants should be fit for some physical exercise. Bring snacks, water, binoculars, camera and hiking shoes.

Cost: no cost other than transportation which depends on your driver.
