Other contributions to the photo contest 10. Noni

August 25, 2010

Noni, or Morinda citrifolia (Rubiaceae), is a peculiar member of the coffee family. It has fruits which smell like vomit, or roquefort cheese, and they are supposedly healthy. It is native to southern Thailand and Malaysia, but is grown in many tropical countries. This splendid photograph was taken at Dokmai Garden by Philip Meier.
