Mitrephora tomentosa in blossom

May 26, 2010

There are many lovely Mitrephora in Thailand. Here is one that you do not see often in gardens: Mitrephora tomentosa. May is a good time for admiring these species at Dokmai Garden.

Dokmai Dogma was only launched two months ago, not many people have found us yet. We appreciate comments of course, and so far we have 69 articles and 12 comments. The site is visited about 20 times a day, with peaks at 80 visitors, a steady increasing trend.

I have just bought a Mitrephora Keithii Ridl from a local plant centre up here in Chiang rai – I am presuming that it likes shade? Or will it tolerate some sun. Your advice would be welcomed. We came down to see you garden in December 2011 and enjoyed our morning very much.
