Activity: Orchid Pollination on Sunday, April 4th, 2010. 15.00

March 31, 2010

How do you know if you have an orchid or not? What characters separate orchids from other flowers? How do you pollinate them to make seeds? This and other questions about orchids will be answered on Sunday’s Dokmai Garden afternoon talk (starting at 15.00 in the restaurant garden). We study growing orchids, and use a dissecting microscope to learn more about orchid anatomy. Fee 300 Baht includes supervision of PhD Eric Danell, coffee and entrance to the garden. Please bring your own orchid for dissections, or we shall have none left to show in the garden. An option is to pay 50 B per flower here. Driving instructions can be found at our website http://www.dokmaigarden.co.th

Please send as an e-mail (info@dokmaigarden.co.th)  if you wish to come. Most welcome!
